The holidays are often the busiest time of year. Finding some time-savers can be a blessing. In Instagoner, the first book in The Bark and Blog Mystery Series, protagonist Emily Dalle is not skilled in the kitchen. For her, the simpler, the better.
Today, I’m sharing my family recipe for the world’s easiest shortbread cookies. They are melt-in-your-mouth delicious, but require minimal effort.
I hope you’ll give them a try and love them as much as I do!
3-Ingredient Shortbread Cookies
-1 lb. butter
-1 cup icing sugar
-3 cups flour
Directions:
- Beat the butter until creamy
- Add to butter & beat until creamy
- Add to above & beat until well-mixed
Drop by the spoonful onto a cookie sheet.
Bake at 300 F for twenty minutes.
And that’s it, folks! Enjoy the cookies.
Happy Holidays!
