In the past, when I’ve organized giveaways, there have been fake accounts created to try to scam people. Please be aware of this. I don’t want anyone to fall victim to these mean-spirited Instagram users.
✨ If I am offering a giveaway, I will not ask for your credit card information or personal data (passwords, SSN, etc.). The only information I understandably ask for is your mailing address so that the prizes can be delivered. If the prize is virtual, I will ask for your email address.
✨ The Cozy Mystery Book Club is @cozymysteryclub across platforms. I have nothing to do with cozymysteryclubco or cozymysteryclubpromo or whatever other fake names they come up.

✨ If you ever doubt an account or come across a fake profile using the book club logo, please don’t hesitate to reach out and verify. I get a lot of DMs, but I do my best to get back to everyone.

I don’t always see the fake accounts. In fact, the really manipulative ones, block the accounts they are attempting to impersonate. Unless someone takes a screenshot and forwards it my way, I probably won’t know about the problem.
💫 This nonsense happens. However, I won’t stop being grateful or generous because of it. Giveaways will be organized and offered again, so please keep these things in mind for the future.
